Giving

Your gift is vital to the future of our school.

We value the support that gifts from alumni and friends provide the Kornberg School of Dentistry. These gifts help ensure our continued success. Every donation has a significant impact on our students and the future of the school. Your gift supports many areas—from student scholarships and faculty development to laboratory equipment and facilities upgrades.

Payment Details

We accept checks payable to Temple University. Checks can be mailed to the following address.

Temple University
PO Box 2890
New York, NY 10116-2890

Please note “Kornberg School of Dentistry” or the specific fund on the check.

Payroll Deduction

Temple University employees can set up a payroll deduction and make a gift directly from their paycheck.

Planned Giving

Make your gift a legacy. Planned giving allows a donor to make a significant and ongoing contribution in harmony with estate and financial planning goals. Planned gifts can honor the donor or someone who the donor wishes to memorialize. Funds can be designated for specific activities, facilities or programs of interest.

Charitable bequests can be made in the form of a dollar amount or in assets such as securities and real estate. Bequests can be a powerful tool for reducing estate tax.

Donor Levels

Donors are recognized at the following levels of distinction. Gifts are recognized annually and, each fall, all Conwell Society members are honored at a dinner during Homecoming and Family Weekend.

  • Trustee’s Circle: $100,000 or more
  • Founder’s Club: $50,000 to $99,999
  • President’s Council: $25,000 to $49,999
  • Fellows: $10,000 to $24,999
  • Benefactors: $5,000 to $9,999
  • Friends: $2,500 to $4,999
  • Members: $1,000 to $2,499
  • Young Alumni Members (0–10 years since graduation): $500 to $999

The Acres of Diamonds Circle was established to pay tribute to the group of Temple alumni, faculty, staff and friends who choose to create a lasting legacy by including Temple in their will, living trust, qualified retirement plan, life insurance policy or donor-advised fund. These gifts will benefit and support future generations of students.

The Conwell Society is a philanthropic recognition society named after Russell Conwell, the founder of Temple University. It aims to honor all donors who elevate Temple with the financial stability required to fulfill the university’s mission of diversity, opportunity and educational excellence.
